On Sunday 14th July All Saints’ Church was treated to a fabulous concert by the Boys’ Choir of Monaco Cathedral. This really was very special and we were so fortunate that the boys were able to fit us in to their busy UK schedule. The choir of 27 boys, under the expert guidance of Pierre Debat, performed a wide repertoire including pieces by Brahms, Saint-Saens and Couperin. Towards the end, the audience was encouraged to join in with Parry’s Jersusalem and finally the concert finished with the well known ‘Do-Re-Mi’ from The Sound of Music. The choir were then heading towards Aberdeen via Leeds. Bravo Boys! A brilliant evening and many thanks to Janet Redler Travel for allowing the choir to visit Shropshire!
